What is the back lighting of the gauge to be able to see it ?

No, it isn't, but I wanted it that way. This means it is water-resistant! This gauge allows me to measure the power of my tractor engine. It is of very high quality.

A waste of money and a complete waste of time

It is not worth your time or money to waste it In the same way as the lens it replaced, the new lens cracked after two days. Since there is no oil pressure at the engine port anyway, this gauge is really just a waste of space. Instead, use the oil pressure gauge and temperature gauge to determine the oil pressure.
