I haven't heard of this. A sending station would need to be constructed
As far as I can tell, the product description is fairly A model like that wasn't purchased by me. In any event, I bought the Striker that does not contain the tach (I wanted a large analog tach). You do not have to buy it to set up later. It came with all the necessary hookups. You start counting down the days until the warranty runs out when you buy the item. Slack is not an option. My purchase took place at the same time as I was gathering A few months ago, it was still in the box. Having a warranty issue within just a few miles meant I was out of luck. The company does not appear to be customer focused in this sense.
However, there are odometer/speedometer devices for bikes that are much more simpler(and cheaper) that have functions such as the tachometer, the cylinder head temperature, oil pressure light, shift lights, and directional indicator lights that you should not need. Hope you have a great day, and I recommend that you get something for your bicycle to save money and time.
This model number is something you have to take to TrailTech themselves to receive an accurate response. It does not have the magnetic speedo sensor, though I do have the Stryker model. I am very pleased with the speedo. Time does not run on the clock.

Good for a naked bike. I really wanted to give it a 5 star rating, but having to set up the tach was a pain. A 92 Yamaha going for a naked look. I got the bike as a street bike. It looks great and works properly, but after 65 mph I have no faith in what it tells me. It's a pain in the but to use the tach. The rpm reading I got was not correct. you're OCD about that, I hope it works using the built-in tach wire on your machine. Or, if you're not, good luck figuring it out. It did not work for me after 6 hours of trying everything. It read just under 4 with a little bit of tweaking. My contribution will be 5k. As soon as it reaches 6, it bounces all over. I am not sure how it is on newer machines, but that's how I've found it to work. On the whole, I don't mind this at all. I'm in love with how There are no surprises with regard to style and size the screen can be seen at any time of day or night, and the wires are clearly The weight is light. In addition, the bracket that is included with the product breaks a bit easily, and the replacements are incredibly expensive. It is a real pain in the neck to setup and get working the tach. As I understand it, if the gauge had to hit anything hard, it would blow up.
The trail tech is great. I bought it when the gauges on my street bike went out. I later switched to a dirt bike. I've had it for more than 2 years now. It has been exposed to all kinds of weather and has experienced hot and cold temperatures. The program works.
The Vapor 704 model was perfect for my 50 year old air conditioner. I would not hesitate to recommend it. Twin Hondas with a cooled engine. Previously, this unit did not have a tach, but it does have a clear display to let you know its status. For the appropriate data to be displayed correctly, some programming is required, but it is not too challenging. A little engineering was required to get the speedo picking configuration right There is a problem, but it is easy to fix. This product is excellent.
It's a volume unit by virtue of making it well designed and built with quality materials, so don't think it's cheap simply because it's low cost. The specifications for the unit have been carefully thought out and arranged to make it a trustworthy device. I installed the display in the optional dash and mounted it between the clip on bars of my road bike just like I would a purpose-built custom My husband and I are extremely happy.
As for the computer, it works great and met all expectations, but you'll have to tape down the spedometer cable with some strong adhesive. A zip tie won't stand up to vibrations, getting sucked into the spokes of your wheel and ripping it.
It was easy to install on my 1988 Nx 650 Dominator and took only about 40 minutes! I agree with the speed and tac and the oil temperature is also correct.
It's a great product. I made some adjustments to make it mount on my.
All in one. Great for engines that run on air coolant.
