The answer is yes! The mileage on my vehicle has not been affected by the recent battery change.
Installing the software is simple and straightforward. What is the platform on which you are installing it? As I accelerate faster and faster, the mph seems to be off, so I think I haven't quite tuned it right yet

Without a doubt. Regardless of what bike you have, this kit will work on it. I believe you can find a way to make it work...just the speed sensor isn't designed for your bike, but I am sure you can find a way

If all you need is a RPM display, do not buy it. remove the Generally, it will work without power, but finding the screen at night is a bit challenging without a background light. Rather than use a power supply, they used 9V batteries instead. There is no reason why I have to use a 9 Volt In addition to the circuit block, I even tried running the power through the additional circuit block without The pick-up arm will need to be cut a bit to give clearance for mounting the speed sensor, which requires cutting a bit of your fork shroud. In addition, I had to drill out the mounting point on the rotor to make way for the magnetic stud (or else the caliper would get hit). After I mounted it, the speed displayed was almost identical to what my GPS was reporting. Two stars for this review are the only reason I gave it two stars because it accurately displayed my speed. There are so many things wrong with this device that I cannot recommend it. There is no tech support when you need it. As an example, the first tech said he would send me a troubleshooting guide but it took another email and a phone call to get it. And then for them to say, "well, if that doesn't work, just plug in a 9v battery. ". It would be nice if you could make a waterproof connection between my 9v battery and my bike so I can mount the battery securely. There is no 9 V battery connector in the kit either. A very disappointing experience.
This is a pro The value of the product, its design, its features, its packaging, and its overall appearance The quality of the presentation and production. The following cons are to be avoided Lighting and a cable connection for the screen. 'If your motorcycle' is mentioned in the instructions, but the Tacho connection remains indistinct. Whenever the unit was manufactured specifically for a motorcycle, it would read 'contact the motorcycle manufacturer. ' Calibrating parameters refers to finding out how to do it. As a result, the connection between the ignition signal and the engine is also messed up. It has been suggested that the spark plug wire be connected directly to the cil wire. Unfortunately, this did not work, resulting in both warning lights being illuminated. There was always a maximum number of revs displayed, no matter what parameters were selected. By wrapping the wire around the spark plug tube, you can read and analyze the voltage however erratic it may be. Five windings seems like too many to me. Still need to resolve as the fuel tank must be removed during each service visit.
The screen remains lit for 20 minutes after the ignition is switched Despite the fact that this isn't a battery drain issue, why is it still taking There are no silicone seals on the cable connections, so moisture may enter due to their inability to be weather proof. Although there were some silly faults, I am very pleased with the item overall.
Having had to purchase this for my husky after experiencing the unavoidable problem with his dash, I bought it for him. I took out my speedometer, and the odometer did not work (wasn't the sensor). The speedometer would constantly flash on and off. It was slow at the beginning and sometimes it would completely fail to turn on. This was an incredibly easy installation for me (I'm knowledgeable in everything) and took me about an hour. A comparison between the vapor and a stock phone shows the vapor to have a brighter, smaller screen, but with a larger LCD. The program offers a lot of additional options such as a temp setting that I waited too long to buy when I had problems with stock, and that was my only problem. Investing here was a wise decision.
I bought this speedometer to replace my OEM speedo, which blew up. As far as I am concerned, it is overpriced. Make sure the temperature sensor has been tested before installation. That's not what I did. My coolant hose was cut, and I installed a temp sensor, but it did not work. It runs hot on my bike (2004 KTM SXC 625), so I wanted the temperature The radiator fin mounted sensor is more expensive than I would like to pay. The Trail Tech team did not respond to my call. The products I purchased from them will never be purchased It is frustrating to deal with products that I consider to be of low quality. I think the speedo is overpriced.
I have the Trail Tech Vapor II for the second time. On the bike I sold, there was a sticker like that. It's only been a little while since I bought this one, but I'd be happy if it lasts as long as the first one did. This product has easy installation instructions and an owner's manual that is easy to understand A friendly individual. Despite its numerous features, I docked it one star due to the standard handlebar mount you get with it. A piece of plastic, it's just flimsy and weak. I would definitely recommend getting an Aluminum trail tech Side note Some of the trail text vapor models come with a thermistor (aka temperature) switch that screws onto the radiator, and some require that it be spliced into the radiator hose to function. You will also receive the tube that will connect to the radiator hose with this kit. Installation instructions look pretty straightforward, even though I have not done this yet.
During the winter, I kept it in a garage! As I went through all that trouble digging up all the sensors, I was surprised to find out that I had to pay another $100 It's a case of you get what you pay for in the end.
While this computer is a good alternative to original models, it has its flaws as well. There is no doubt that this unit's tach is its biggest selling point, and it's a great piece of equipment. As well as being easy to install, the unit is also quite compact. There are some downsides to it. In order to measure the water temperature I had to cut into the hose, something I was not willing to do. So instead of cutting into my hose I purchased a separate water sensor for my radiator. In addition, the water temp cannot be set as a default and is not displayed on the first screen (ambient is).
As for the computer itself, you will have to get the DRZ400E/S Kit if you have a DRZ400SM. While the latter has a screw for the radiator, the former has a tap for inline drainage. Additionally, the speedo drive plug did not come with the model. There were enough magnetic bolts to adapt it so that I could add it to my sumo wheels and dirt wheels.
