It is possible to use this water gauge and the original water gauge ?

You can use them both at the same time, but the tomax comes with its own temperature sensor that you must install in order to use it

Can anyone tell me what adapter I need for my 1999 Silverado 3500 radiator since none of the part stores have any in stock?

It is necessary to use an inline hose adapter several can be found on Amazon. Similarly, Max Tow is believed to have one. It has been nearly a year since I purchased this unit. I have not connected it It has been impossible for me to remove a bolt from the top of the engine so I can put the sensor there. In order to access the inline, I must also use the URL. You may also want to check if your truck has a bolt or plug that can be removed to let the sensor in. It was the internet that led me to mine the helpful people.
