Product Description

It keeps the engine clean while preventing misfires that occur due to carbon accumulation. The baffle system in the tank can catch oil and moisture from PCV/CCV air and the engine will be kept clean and able to last longer.
It is possible to install a low micron bronze filter and there is a larger baffle in side of the oil catch. All types of fine impurities can be more effectively filtered by the bronze filter. With the large baffle in the tank, oil vapor would be able to cool in a larger space and turn into liquid, catching it more readily.
This 3/8" NBR fuel line has excellent oil resistance (resistance to mineral oil and liquid fuel), high wear resistance, and good temperature This hose does not need to be purchased separately.
The oil catch can be made from aluminum T6061 material, which is of very high quality. Oil can be collected more quickly in aluminum alloys due to their ability to quickly dissipate heat. Anodized finish on the body gives a fashion appearance to the utmost strength and durability.
Oil catch can be covered by a 4-month warranty provided by SpeedWow. Getting in touch with us if you have any other problem will ensure that we help

How can I mount this? Does it have a ?

In reality, you can only install it that way, as there are two screws on the back that need to be removed. There is also a small lip type bracket on the back of the catch, so depending on where you want it placed, it's really just up to you

The intake and outlet hoses must be reversed for the system to function properly
4/5

All you need to set up the catch can is included in the package. There is one thing I noticed, however, and that is that the Inlet and Outlet are labeled backward. Inlet air should be pulled in through the open hole, and the Air should be filtered as it exits by the bronze filter. In the process of building up material in the can, this prevents material from being drawn into the engine. It is labeled to filter the inlet, and this causes the material to build up in the hose if it is plumb exactly as it's supposed to.
You can check this on brands of catch cans that you buy.
You can also verify that the material is drawn into the catch can and filtered before returning to the engine. Excellent product however, the inlet and outlet hoses are printed reversed from the text printed on the package.

THE REVIEW HAS BEEN UPDATE! It is made from a sturdy material
3/5

It looks simple and is appealing to the eye. Steel wool is provided as extras, which is very Although I am not sure if it will ever have to be swapped or what, it is nice to have. As I mentioned above, I did not use the hose provided, but did use 3/8 inch fuel hose instead. It is my pleasure to inform you that this catch can is vacuum tight, and it won't cause you to have air or vacuum leaks. My system is running on an LS4 motor with no DOD enabled, which runs thirsty and hot. I'll keep you updated on the filtered results as time goes along. A NEW UPDATE It would appear that the catch can is not capable of meeting the demands of the LS4 motor. I am retracting all the compliments I gave this product. A leak appears to be developing in the PCV valve and a vacuum must be present. As far as I can tell there is a vacuum in the area I should be releasing pressure from. The catch can could not move that pressure to the intake fast enough while driving, so I conclude this means it wasn't able to do its job while driving. It is likely that there was a gasket blown somewhere when the pressure built up to a critical level. It would be great if the problem could be solved easily. This will definitely end up in the trash. The following notes are general in nature If you are considering purchasing a catch can, you should NOT purchase one with a breather. You will experience a lean air-conditioning system due to leaks in these areas, reducing your AC's performance and efficiency. If you are buying this product, make sure to get a sealed.

A value that is worth every penny
5/5

With a Hyundai Veloster with a GDI engine, this product has kept my engine from getting gunked up with lots of debris. If I'd purchased earlier, I would have had a better experience. This set comes with O rings, steel wool, and It is not appropriate to use the hose that comes with the kit, and you should purchase a 3/8-inch In my car, I always drain the catch can whenever I change my oil. The average amount of liquid I consume is 4 or 5 ounces. My engine is very grateful that this liquid won't go back into it. I cut the hose that came with the kit into a 10-inch piece and use that to manually install the spark plugs. That works Your engine will be protected from harmful liquids and vapors thanks to these oil catch cans. A must-have.

It is important to have precise information
4/5

It is recommended. In a nutshell, The 17 Ford F-150 I bought this for came in just in time for Christmas The number is 150. A major problem with the 7L Ecoboost was that there were no proper instructions to show you how to do I will now explain how to install the program. 1 *br Remove your PCV line by finding it, disconnecting and completely removing it. There should be a brown opening, which signifies the removal of the line. 1. 2. Set aside the intake manifold line once it has been disconnected. •3. Wrap white kevlar tape around the screw threads on the hose connectors that attach to They can then be threaded into the housing of the can. Item 4. You will need to find a space in which to store the Installation is done by attaching with supplied equipment. This is *br. 5. Ensure the included hosing is cut to the correct length to fit in the The sixth point. To attach the connector ends to the hose that won't be connected to the catch can, attach the ends of the removed lines. You can remove the connector ends by heating up the remove lines, which will expand (low flame) and make it easier for you to do so. 7.
The removed connector lines must be placed on both appropriately cut hoses, and those are then secured with the clamps supplied (maybe bigger clamps are This is 8. Connect one connector end to the intake manifold, which will be attached to the "out" terminal of the catch can. (Remember to secure the clamp closer to the thread housing. Hook up the second end of the connector to the PCV housing, which will be joined to the "in" thread housing using The installation has now been completed. As of now, it hasn't leaked, proving that the catch can is working!.

This is recommended for engines that use GDI and turbochargers
4/5

The use of an Oil Catch Can should be recommended if your engine runs on gasoline direct injection, or it has a turbocharger. Tacoma 4 was the name of my truck in 2007. I installed this oil catch can on a 0L V6 Prerunner after she reached well over 250k miles in no time. This is my second installation of an With the dip stick, you can check the oil level more easily. My old one was significantly more expensive and of lesser quality. This one was cheaper and of better quality. If you want the best results, you should get the bronze filter. Since the mounting bracket came with small holes, the bolts I use on my truck could not fit into the bracket. I enlarged one of the holes by drilling a wider hole to accommodate an existing bolt. My truck gets great gas mileage at 20 mpg. If you combine it with bigger tires and a lift of three inches, yes, that is The oil catch can I recommend for all gasoline direct injection engines is the oil catch can that I am a Chemical Engineer. In order to do this, you must have clean air in the combustion chamber, where the fuel to air ratio should be high. With a higher number, you will get more power and efficiency. Using an oil catch can will prevent oil from entering your engine and prevent carbon deposits from building up. Because every vehicle is different, I strongly recommend researching your vehicle first. If you get a new vehicle, I suggest installing it as soon as possible. I'm currently installing one on my 2021 KIA Telluride.
Pay attention to the following tips There is a mistake in the labeling on the oil catch can's IN and OUT sections. To connect the PVC line to the opposite side of the filter, attach it the way you would a hose. You can expect your PCV line to get blocked up and build pressure if you don't.
