This is not to say that you should do it, but it is what I did. To get the two barbed quick disconnect fittings, I removed the existing emissions tube from my truck and cut the hose. I tried boiling the supplied 3/8 hose to get it to stretch over the disconnect fittings, but it didn't work. There was no way it was going to work out. To splice the supplied hose to the disconnect fittings, I used some 3/4" heavy duty marine grade shrink tubing. So far, everything has gone well.

This review is aimed at owners of the third-generation Tacoma. Billet aluminum of excellent quality. JLT sells a kit for 160 dollars that does exactly that for less. You'll need half-inch elbows from Home Depot and one screw that I found in my toolbox, which is why you should save every screw. I'll see how it stands up to the test of time, and I hope it helps my taco-loving friends.
The quality of the item is excellent. It comes with everything you'll need to set it up, and the hoses are of good quality. I've seen some catch cans come with cheap plastic hoses that no one would ever use if they were mounting it on their car. br>The only criticism I have is that the inlet and outlet holes could be a little larger to allow for more airflow.
It seems as if the lack of dirty oil in my pistons has made it happier.
