The Polaris short neck fuel petcock replacement kit is a good choice

The short neck of the fuel petcock made it difficult to find a replacement for my old fuel petcock. I found this to be a terrific option for rebuilding it. All parts fit perfectly, and after a little vaseline to help the rubber seals slide against the new parts, they work perfectly. Despite some gasket material being necessary between the tank and the valve, it worked well. Despite this, I had to add some rubber gasket material between the tank and valve to prevent continued.

A new group replaced the old one of 20 years. To replace the petcocks in this kit for the price of this kit, buy new cheapo ones. A rebuilt one and the factory one is the way to go It seems like a very good kit.

ended up having to buy a new valve entirely. It would have been better to have done it from the beginning. The tank is not equipped with filters.

I am so thankful that I had this kit because I disassembled my gas valve after leaving modern day gas in it, and completely cleaned it out and reassembled it with new parts. I used 0000 steel wool to clean my leaky gas valve.

It does not work with the Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle. It is not big enough. Sadly, it showed up in my searches, but I will return to look at it.

I have a Yamaha TTR125 and this is the perfect fix

I have been able to use this kit on my Yamaha TTR125 without any issues. It's really helpful that the kit included new fasteners, since my old ones got rounded off while I was trying to loosen them. In addition to the sticker, my bike looked nice with it as well.
