Questions & Answers
It fit perfectly for my 1975 Harley-Davidson golf cart in terms of width and length, but it was upside down.br>I contacted the manufacturer, who said there was nothing they could do about it. I was able to get it to work.br> A rubber O ring was used in place of the flat rubber gasket. br>It now appears to be perfect.
These aren't locking caps, so don't expect them to lock. Many thanks to The Part Connection.
They've been vented, to be sure. A small hole in the gauge face allows full venting through the gas caps. As long as your tank is at least 12 1/2" deep, it should be fine. Many thanks to The Part Connection.
It was too big for the 1985 EZ-Go. I was working on a project called "Go" at the time. The cap was correct, but the Float Slides on which the Foam Gauge was mounted were about 4 inches too long. I was able to shorten them and reweld them to make it fit and function properly. The Gauge Length was not specified by Amazon or their Supplier. The Gauge Length refers to the length of the gauge that actually fits into the fuel. So, with the exception of the modifications I had to make, the 1985 model worked fine.
