I'm guessing an fxstc is a Harley because not many people know what it is. This is a feature of the crankcase ventilation system. The Uni Filter will work as long as a vacuum source is drawing negative pressure on the hose. You will lose crankcase ventilation if the air cleaner is used as the vacuum source, which will promote sludge and leaks.
There are a variety of sizes to choose from, as well as detailed specifications.

It worked for a few days, but then the piece that held the filter snapped. This filter, in my opinion, is best for something that doesn't get very hot. This was intended to be a crankcase vent, but it most likely broke due to the heat. I wouldn't use it on any metal items.
Although not as flashy as some of the other breathers, it appears to be well-made and is the perfect size for the valve cover on my Toyota 22R engine. Filter media appears to be similar to what K is using. N filters are used, and one piece of rubber is molded onto the filter.
When I removed the restrictions from my Kawasaki 636, I needed to replace the breather tube. Everything went smoothly.
It smells a little like old cooking grease, but it does the job.
I needed to replace the cheap air compressor filter element on my winch, and I couldn't find anything suitable. I found it, ordered it, put it in place, and voila! The OD of the winch hose was 5/8" and this filter fit perfectly, as usual with Uni quality. I'd buy it again, and I'd recommend it to anyone. See my photo to see how I installed this filter in my Jeep.
My crank case only required a breather filter. For the price, it's impossible to beat.
On my Ninja 250R from 2009, I used this as a crankcase breather. The crank case vent is left wide open when the air box is removed. This is a perfect fit; just make sure the area is thoroughly cleaned. If there is any oil residue on it, it will not stay on.
It's a crankcase breather filter, what else can I say? It is a perfect fit for my Kawasaki W650 from the year 2000. It accomplishes the task at hand.
