It attaches to the head with a bolt and provides a great deal of adjustment. Mine had to be pointed out in order to fit under the fuel tank.
The 9930 kit comes with both 1/2 and 3/8 breather bolts. Regards, Greg
I used the short ones because I was only mounting the breather. There are two different sets, one long and the other short. The longer ones, I believe, are used when the air cleaner is held in the same holes.

This is what I installed on my 2005 Harley Sportster XL1200C. I'm not convinced by the claims that installation was a "breeze. " "I'm not saying it was difficult, but it certainly wasn't easy. " br>br>The tubes are thick and tough, and getting them on the banjo bolts and across the rocker to the left of the bike is difficult. The connector was a pain to connect, and the output is a strange size of 1/2in. I'm not sure why they went with that size, but it won't fit the tubing that came with it. I ended up spending $2 on a special PCV adaptor that reduced the diameter to 3/8" so I could use a 2ft fuel line. 50) to go to the frame's bottom. br>br>If I had it to do all over again, I would remove the y-. opt for a 3/8" input to 3/8" output connector from an auto parts store instead. Keep things as simple as possible.
I'm running a 98 dyna with a Mikuni HSR 42 carburetor and a Kuryakyn hypercharger. The breather kit that comes with the kuryakyn is replaced by this kit. however - It doesn't come with a spacer, and I discovered that the gap between the carb and the engine is too wide for the hypercharger to be bolted directly to the carb. Aside from that, it's a simple install, and you shouldn't need an oil collection cup if you run the oil hoses from the banjos up under the tank and exit near the triple tree mount on the frame. The oil should stay in the engine thanks to gravity and air flow.
On my iron 883 2019, it works perfectly. Don't allow those noxious gases to re-enter your system! Simple and better for the motor in the long run: clean air in, dirty air out the exhaust.
It was incredible, and it made such a difference.
