Stop acting like a baby and complaining about how loud they are and how they hurt your vaginal area; they are indeed loud. Isn't that what it's all about? I also added a cold air intake, had it dyno'd, and man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man o " Leave your stock pipes at home and get out of here. ".
For my 2021 Scout Bobber (ABS), this is a fantastic and simple upgrade. Because removing the stock exhaust was difficult (use a rubber mallet to help nudge the stock pipes off), it probably took me a little over an hour to install. Also, when there are no visuals, I tend to overthink directions. But, in any case, it made sense, and I was able to complete it using standard hand tools.
GOD. I've only had my 2021 Scout Bobber for two weeks. These bikes may appear to be badass, but they sound like sewing machines as they speed up the road. Add these pipes to your cart right now if you want your bobber to sound badass. You won't be disappointed. This completes the bike, and I'm amazed at how simple it was to put them on. I'm not a very mechanical person. I wasn't particularly handy, but I was able to install them in about an hour with simple tools on my own. They're beautiful, and they sound fantastic! Vance, you did a fantastic job. I'm so happy for you, Hines!.
The fit is perfect, and it looks fantastic. And it sounds a lot better than I expected a slip on to sound like. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. Maybe a little too loud for a neighborhood, but I already despise my neighbors.
These are important. They are, without a doubt, a raucous bunch. You've seen every single one of the YouTube videos that I've seen showcasing them. Is it possible that they are too loud? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no neighbors of mine That's because I don't start my bike and let it run for 20 minutes in my garage/driveway like a turd face, revving it up every two seconds. I get dressed first, then start the bike and ride out of my neighborhood slowly. Others, I'm sure, will follow suit. You'll be fine if you do that. br>br>The installation was fairly simple, though the instructions stated that all of the original existing hardware should be used to mount the new pipes, which was a little confusing. There are some additional bolts that need to be removed that aren't mentioned in the instructions on the 2021 Indian Scout Bobber (and probably many other model years). Look for them and get rid of them; they're a pain to get to, so deal with it. I was having trouble getting the chrome tips to peek out the back until I realized that the rear heat shields are large enough to fit over the front heat shields. br>br>I also added the "quiet" baffles, which don't do much to quiet things down but do eliminate the obnoxious wet slappy clapping that these pipes (and bike) produce. With the quiet baffles in place, you get a deeper growl and rumble from the engine, making it sound more healthy while still being loud enough when you twist the throttle. br>br>In my opinion, the quiet baffles should be included as standard, with the "nothing" baffles available as an option. In any case, the sound of these pipes is exactly what you're looking for. I wanted to achieve a certain look. I am confident that you will enjoy them.
2020 bobber is compatible with this part. Taking out the stock mufflers is the most difficult part of it all. The rest is simple and straightforward. How to install can be seen in a YouTube video. They are extremely loud, so it will save you time. When I ride, I have to wear earplugs because my pipes are so loud. If it's too loud for you, you can always buy baffles. I noticed a slight decrease in horsepower, possibly due to the lack of back pressure or something, when entering a freeway. The bike appeared to be a little sluggish at times. To solve the problem, I'll eventually get a tuner and a new air filter. Overall, I'm content.
br>Simple assembly, though the instructions may include additional images or a link to a YouTube video that explains the process. br>The clamps that were delivered didn't appear to be very sturdy. br>After reading other reviews expressing dissatisfaction with the clamps' quality, I simply used the clamps from the old exhausts. br>Also, instead of following the exhaust instructions, I followed the instructions in the maintenance manual for installing the clamps. br>To summarize: Really cool and a lot of noise!.
They will undoubtedly hear me approaching now. The sound quality improved dramatically as a result of this. There will be no more engines that sound like they came from the Jetsons!! However, I recommend using the stock clamps instead of the clamps that came with the kit. One of the V's screws was broken, and I needed to replace it. H clamps. The torque specification is quite large. However, I had no trouble using the stock clamps and torqueing them down to the manufacturer's specifications. They're more robust and long-lasting. However, the way it looks and sounds makes a significant difference. This is a very loud speaker. There are no puzzles. So, if you don't want it to be too loud, you might want to try something with a baffle or put one in here. The installation was simple, but removing the stock pipes could be a challenge; just take your time and don't damage anything.
