Sierra Customer Service is a joke, but the product is of excellent quality

Sierra produces a high-quality manifold that is far superior to the GLM manifolds currently available. The only drawback is that the included gaskets were damaged in transit due to improper packaging. Sierra would not replace them because their contract with Amazon stipulated that I would be responsible for any damage. That is absurd and poor customer service for two gaskets, which I purchased locally. They're made in the United States and have a good build quality. No visible casting marks can be found on these. They do have a matte black finish to them. I bought a couple coats of Dupicolor engine paint in gloss black from the auto parts counter for my Mercruiser application. It turned out beautifully and is a perfect match for the engine.

It's a good kit, but if you need the other open style, you'll have to look elsewhere

This is a good kit, but if you need the other open style riser gasket, you'll have to buy it separately because this kit only comes with the restricted gasket.
