It appears to be a good product, as I used it on a kit motorcycle with a fuel line that is close to the exhaust manifold.
That's a close call. You could try it, but I'd add a second layer of wrapping with an insulated metallic shield.
"Made in the United States" is written on the package I received. Who knows how long that will last!
The length was perfect for me, though it did stretch out a little for a snug fit. I purchased two rolls and still had enough for both of my headers.

put in place It was a perfect solution to my vapor lock problem. It came in two pieces, one for the carburetor line and the other for the fuel line near the driver's side exhaust tip. the issue was resolved - There will be no more stalling due to a fuel shortage.
As a result, giving it five stars indicates that it is an AMAZING PRODUCT. On my 1957 Thunderbird, I had some DEI products on the fuel lines, and while they were functional, they looked terrible, and I wasn't going to keep them on a show car. I'm glad I came across them. The setup is simple. br>br> The shielding expands to fit over fittings, and the shrink wrap prevents fraying at the ends. They're also black, so they won't show any dirt (which is a no-brainer when you're putting something under the hood that could get dirty). Finally, I believe they are a Christian company, as evidenced by the Thomas Jefferson quote on the packaging, so bravo to them for playing without shame.
It appears to be of excellent quality and looks great. There is nothing to be unhappy about! I used it for a fuel line on a Harley that had to get really close to some really hot things. This stuff worked well and prevents the hose from drying out and cooking. It's also fantastic for wiring!.
This was slipped over my gas line on my Harley because it was touching the fins on the engine and was burning holes in it, so I cut it to size. Since then, the lines have been excellent!.
It performs as expected. I would purchase this item again. Installing it was a breeze.
It worked perfectly on a 1950 Packard fuel line where vapor lock was a concern.
It was used to connect the vacuum line to the waste gate on my Polaris Slingshot Turbo. This is an excellent item.
Slick.
