There is an 8" width and a 4" height. I love how it works!
Through this material, you can easily wear a hole. The fibers in this picture are heat shield fibers,
Simply wrapping the pipes makes it fit better. The more curled it is, the less likely you are to connect it directly to a pipe, since it is not rated for direct contact. On the other hand, if it is curled along the perimeter of the shield, it does not bend it the other way in the middle. The shield is not very large, which means it will bend and end up sitting on the muffler since a 4" muffler is quite small. Despite this, I have to position mine so that it touches my pipes, since I need it to At first, the smell was a little strong, but it has not
On the other hand, in theory, you could attach it easily to a vehicle. I used it on a motorcycle, so I'm not sure if it would be helpful for a vehicle.

While riding mountain single tracks pipe, you often fall off of the bike on a frequent basis and this burns holes in your pants and melts plastic on your boots. Your pants eventually burn out and you get tired. Fittings that have melted bits on the pipes do not improve the aesthetics of the bike. Therefore, this solution proved to be the ideal one. In spite of the fact that it still gets very hot and you can't hold your finger to it for more than 2 seconds, it is not hot enough to burn anything. I solved my problem completely by doing that. Later, I will add a picture. Definitely a good value for money. Looks good on a bike. I would recommend it.
The spot on my pipe where it melted has a sharp downward curve, so I needed something strong as well as There isn't anything smooth about it and there isn't anything smooth about it, In spite of the heat shield being closer to my hands than I thought it was, I managed to reach down and put my hands directly on it (which is not recommended and I'm not liable for burns if you do so). One thing I would wish was different is that there was some kind of high-heat silicone on the brackets where they touch the pipes to prevent scratches when they are Apart from that, it worked exactly as I expected.
We offer proof, flexibility, affordability, and convenience. The exact thing I was looking for. In my case, I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee (XJ). There is no longer an issue The stock tires are shitty, small, and can be replaced with some Yokohama 30s by cutting off 5 inches. It was a small enough lift to look natural when used with the bigger tires, but apparently enough to hit the leaf spring when the exhaust was used. If I had taken the exhaust hanger off and replaced it with some crude clamps, it might have moved around, but I didn't want it jumping around with a temporary solution. As far as I could tell, this would be perfect, due to its inability to become melted by exhaust, incapability to rub away from leaf spring bolts, and capacity to withstand vibration. This is exactly what I was looking for. Noise was stopped, and it was cheaper and easier to do than cutting and reshaping of exhaust pipes.
As for quality and performance, I would have liked you to have sent smaller hose clamps, or included a second smaller set of hose clamps as part of this price premium. * 2 is the most common pipe size. This clamp has a diameter of 3" and a length of 5" It is around 6" or so and does not tuck in completely, leaving bulges from the excess. It will be necessary for me to go to the hardware store to pick up some smaller stainless clamps.
This item came highly recommended by me since my Vance and Hines Competition series exhaust gets a bit hot to handle. Because I know it's a common occurrence, I bought this to protect my leg/boot area in hopes that it will bend a little since it's not made of Since the area I wanted to place it in is curved, I was unable to make it fit perfectly. In reality, it almost fit, but it was folded with huge creases and looked awful. In less than five minutes, I had removed it and was left with lots of scratches on my new exhaust since it has four metal clips on the inside. Once I removed the exhaust, it started.
I am in love with A lot of people have reported success with this product. Having an HD Night Rod with a mid-size Miller Lite special edition is an absolute delight for me A control system. Having said that, each time I stop for a light, my leg passes in front of the rear exhaust that used to burn right through my I love this wrap because it cools down the temperature and makes my rides so much more enjoyable! I am actually capable of riding in shorts even in Florida heat after a good year of riding! Before, I would never have been able to do that! This is a great.
My exhaust was previously wraped but looked ugly, this presented a solution and added some extra coverage. I had to add additional hose clamps because the 2" 3-" hoses had a thin wall, but this solution proved to be a good one. The size of one system was a little larger than expected.
The meeting lasted for less than a minute. There was an issue with the rivets in the material that lasted only a few weeks. In comparison to the factory heat shield, the reduction of heat was decent, but not as good as it was. Rather than spending money uponmodifying or replacing your bike's heat shielding, you might as well use its stock components.
