This is not the case, in my opinion. In order to add heat barrier to my starter shield, I wrapped it. The exhaust pipe would probably stick to it but I am not sure
The purpose is not to fix them but rather to prevent damage caused by heat and friction.

For my outdoor gas grill, I bought this product to cover the bottom of the front lid. After I burnt myself on the hot lid of my new grill, I had to go to the hospital. Although the tape adhered, it was not very effective as an insulator. If you do burn yourself, you will likely do so with the tape rather than the stainless steel In order to avoid getting burned, you must pull your hand away as quickly as possible.
As a result of its width, when insulating one or more small wires, you can fold the insulation length-wise (instead of spiral wrapping the wires, as with a hot dog bun) and insert the wires into the fold. You are now folding the tape up, creating an adhesive bond between two surfaces. This must result in a very strong, sticky As for warmth or heat resistance, it is too soon for me to give an honest review, but the tape is a three-layer tape, so I think it will do a good job here too.
We have not had any issues with starting due to an exhaust shield not being effective. We have used two layers, and no issues have occurred! Make sure the sections are cut cleanly with a Razer knife. This product is amazing! The sticky side is great, and the cut pieces are firm enough! This is great, thanks for creating it.
The tape was applied, followed by the That's a decent article. Despite the low price, it worked well on my turbo system. I wrapped the aluminum piping under the hood with it. Although the roll appears small, it is actually quite large- Less than 36 inches of 2 were done on one roll. It is 5" in diameter. A tube. It is easy to tear aluminum foil since it is thin. This tape was applied, and then an additional layer of heavy duty aluminum duct tape was applied (available at home improvement stores).
During the process, the fabric that was left on the product ended up lightly burning because it came in contact with the exhaust pipe. You can see what remains by looking at the left side where the reflective material is missing. In the same row, on the right, there is a different brand of heat tape that is completely untouched.
The reason I bought this was to wrap the air conditioning lines on my car. They were close to the headers, so I was a bit worried that they would get damaged. I have had the wrap under the hood of my Mustang for 2 months now, and it has not failed me even once. The sticky side of the wrap works very well, and I have had no issues with it. The next time I buy, I will definitely buy again!.
Thank you for making it. For the price, I thought it wouldn't be very good, but it's pretty good. I wish I'd purchased more, and it will be my next purchase. For safety's sake I would use metal zip ties to ensure that it doesn't come undone.
Despite a misreading of the application, I tried wrapping my exhaust around the motorcycle. It was not strong enough to hold up. Temperatures in the exhaust were between 200° and 200°F 220°F is 220°C. I guess we'll just say that. I made a mistake there.
