Questions & Answers
When I purchased this kit, it came with two gaskets. It is a good idea to use factory gaskets because they won't seal if the exhaust system is not positioned perfectly.
My 2013 Iron was absolutely perfect with these. There is probably no difference in the size of the head between the 2016 and all previous models.
need to check with Harley parts to find out whether the exhaust ports on your 2018 are the same as my '96" Road King engine from 2007.
It has to be a v-shaped frame It will fit if you make it twin

There is no reason for the negative reviews on Amazon regarding this product. I bought this one and an OEM (SE type) and compared them side by side. I could not tell the difference between the two. My next step was to measure with calipers after feeling them. Compared to each other, they're truly I think if someone is complaining about them not sealing right, they are not seating them correctly. This is my second pair of them I've used and they always seal great for me. To get them to seal, sometimes you have to torque them down again very hot, this applies for OEM gaskets as well.
There are many things that Vance and Hines does well, but this isn't one of them. If you want the Harleys, you just have to spend an extra $9. After these lasted a whole month before blowing out, I spent an additional three hours taking it all back off.
I installed them on my 2005 xl sportster, and I had a tough time getting them into place. I have not yet ridden, so I don't know whether they will There is just a little too much of them.
The ones I put on my 04 Sportster 2 months ago when I installed the Lowbrow Shotgun exhaust have to be replaced. I have the front pipe flange seated in the correct location and it is tight, but there is black exhaust crap all over the engine around it, which indicates that it is.
A BIG pain getting this into the exhaust port of my xl883N was getting this into the exhaust port. piece of equipment was pinched and bent when I put it in, and I thought it would leak for sure, but it seems to be holding up very well. I give it.
Had the same ones with the hines power headers, so I didn't need them. It was very easy to install and they sealed very.
I fitted an aftermarket exhaust to my Harley Davidson '15 and replaced the stock gasket. The product is great. It is the same as the Gaskets from the dealer, Screamin Eagle. Definitely worth checking out.
When riding rubber-mounted Harleys, it is a good idea to recheck the fasteners every 500 miles or so.
