There was a break at both ends

Even though it still seals the exhaust, I noticed that the bolts go through the broken ends. I had to replace the loose bolt, but the bolts still seal the exhaust.

The smushing and sealing both seemed to be perfect. The corrosion resistance of this material is impressive and I have little doubt that it will be there for the long haul This one is a better deal in the long term, and it is certainly cheaper than the stock one.
