If it fits, then it should be okay. For your 2008, the OEM part number is the same as the one I used on my 2001 TTR 125.
You will receive all the rings with it. A new set of valves is the only thing missing. The valve I had on one of my machines broke off during use, so I highly recommend it.
The Suzuki TTR 125 2000 – 2010 is compatible with this product.
I used this on my 2006 TTR 125 and it worked like a charm.

You are better off saving your money and purchasing this instead. The bike was dropped in a pond by my friend's son, who didn't know what to do with it at the time. Not wanting to tell his father it went swimming, he told him it just locked up and sat for over five He showed me in the back of the shed his ttr after we were talking about all the bikes we had and that we wished we still had. It was a story I got from asking what was wrong. Perhaps I could take it home and see if it can be fixed. Pulling the plug out of the house, I found that it had flaky rust and thought that this might be an expensive fix. As I started to tear it down, the valves looked terrible, I couldn't even see the top of the piston due to the pile of rust. So I got a blaster and beat the piston out, and the cylinder was toast. So I decided to throw it away. The price was looking like it would be over $350 with a big bore kit and the tuning problems that would It will only cost you $40 on Amazon, so what's going on here? I thought it might be worth a shot for the price, so I cleaned the valves and did a good lap job and pocket porting before reusing the valves. I found the head to be in good condition. Spun the crankcase open and found some surface rust on the crank, but the bearings appeared to be in good order. the flange went back together after it had been cleaned and lubricated.
I didn't know what to expect, but for $40 bucks US it's not a bad deal. How could things possibly In any case, I've for the last 3 months gone on and off, and I can't say I've done anything wrong.
Oh, The new cylinder had been very dirty, so I used Dawn dish soap and water to wash and rinse it before it was coated with light oil. In all engines I have ever built, I have washed out the bores with dish soap before firing the engines and they have I am Mike,.
This is a great rebuild kit for your TT125.
There was no gap between any of the rings in my kit, as specified in the Yamaha manual. The kit has proven so far to be surprisingly durable, but time will tell if it will last.
I'm still in the testing phase to see how reliable it is.
I was able to solve the problem.
I like it very much. I am amazed at the deal you gave me. This is insane. This purchase has been a great experience for me.
Great quality, except that it would have been nice to have a tensioner gasket otherwise it is a top-notch product.
Great piece for a great price. Is fast and runs smoothly.
