Since I had broken the drive belt, I had to run the motor without the cover when I replaced it. Originally, the seal was in the engine portion of the cover, were it was sucked into the belt drive and spit back There were a few rough spots on it, but the appearance was still acceptable. In the future, I will replace the chewed up one with this one.
In all honesty, I wasn't convinced that the old one was a bad one, but when it started to leak, I was worried. I put the new one on and it is now watertight. This is an easy.
I liked it a lot.
The goods fit as they should and were shipped on time.
I was able to use it with the sportsman 800 without issues.
It works wonderfully. Be sure to smear liberal amounts of grease around the new gasket once it is in place to ensure it provides a watertight.
It fits perfectly on an 08 RZR.
A good product for a lot less money than Polaris was planning on charging.
