It's functional, but not particularly effective

It's functional, but it's flimsy. Why? I'm not sure. I have the gasket in place, but I believe the vibrations are causing the cap to come loose. To find out where it fell off, I had to walk down a gravel road.

On my 1987 Honda Fourtrax TRX350D, I installed the crankcase cover. Although the plastic is cheaply chrome plated, an OEM plug for machines from the 1980s is difficult to come by.
