Can this be used on a 2005 Sportsman ?

Any guess whether it will fit an 04 Sportsman 500 4x4 Ho?

Mine was the exact same 04 sportsman 500 HO as yours. Although it doesn't look the same as the original, it is a perfect replacement for the original. Just follow the directions and you will have no issues.

I have a 2004 Sportsman 500 4x4 ho. Is this going to fit?

There is no way for me to know. I need it for a 2005 Sportsman In addition, I have an 07 sportsman 500, and the kit will not fit.

I was able to fix the This Polaris 500 HO had a problem with the fan never shutting off, so I tried to fix it with a new temperature sensor, but it didn't work

I then found out that there was a recall on these control modules, which had already been replaced. After plugging this in, I was able to resolve my problem immediately. I was there in a flash. The price is very good compared with what we used to pay for them. You don't have to mess with rebuilding your original when you can buy a new one.

Polaris fixed the overcharging problem on my 2006 sportsman 500 with this fix. In addition to the voltage regulator, it has other features.
