In this regulator rectifier there are six wires, the wires are Gray Tach, Yellow AC, Red (Female) Sense, Red (Male) B+, and Black B-. The yellow AC is the central air conditioner. In case you are not sure if it fits your model, please contact MZS customer service. She will be able to assist

As we can see, the regulator fits just as shown and was an easy swap on a Mercury 125 horsepower engine, although I had to adjust the settings on the tachometer, which didn't make sense to me, but it's not unheard of.
With the exception of the tachometer, everything is working now on my boat. A battery reading of 14 volts is displayed while the motor is One thing I like about this unit in comparison with the original and other units is the wires are 16g instead of 18g. I would not be able to tell the difference if not for that,.
I am very pleased with it thus far. Time will tell if it will hold up, but as of now I am very interested in it.
My Tach/Voltage problem was resolved and I paid half the price of an OEM solution.
Everything so far seems to be going smoothly. My new VRs work well, and my boat batteries are charged according to specs.
It seems to work just.
I found the installation of my 2003 Mercury 115 to be very straightforward. Since then, I've used the boat a couple of times. The issue is not a concern.
