Issue relating to charging has been resolved

This problem has been resolved. A lot of my time during the deer season is spent on my 4wheeler. Thank you so much for working out all the details. A few new screws were needed but that was the only issue. Since the new voltage regulator mounting brackets are much thicker and longer than the original ones, the originals were too short.

Voltage regulators such as this one are reliable. My 98' Honda Foreman 400's alternator was unable to charge the battery due to parasitic amp draw. I was able to fix the problem by simply changing the distributor cap. There is a TIGHT fit between the electrical connector and the mounting bolts, so you will likely need to use longer one. Let's hope it stands the test of time!.
