Questions & Answers

Is this part compatible with a 2013 Can-Am Renegade 1000?

They will, in fact.

Is this part compatible with a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander 1000?

It fits my 2015 Outlander 800, so I'm guessing it'll work on a 1000 as well. The body type is the same.

Nice, beefy, and strong
5/5

After a few months of owning my 2013 Outlander 650xmr, I noticed that the steering was slightly off during a mud event. Up until the event, all of the rides had been light and not too serious. I discovered that the tie rod shaft on the right side was bent (a common problem, according to what I've heard), so I ordered this kit. Nice, beefy, and strong. It was simple to install, and everything was back to normal. I had no problems with the threads, as a few others have mentioned. Everything worked well together.

These appear to be of excellent quality, but proceed with caution
3/5

I've had these for about three years now and they're still going strong. I wanted to update my review after four seasons of riding. Original review: br>br> I was a little hesitant to buy because several reviews said the thread quality was poor, but I had no such problems - I had no issues with the threads because they were correct. The tie rods are significantly heavier than the stock ones. I haven't installed it yet, but it appears to be of excellent quality. br>br>After 3 or 4 riding seasons, the following is a revised review: br>We've had a lot of trouble keeping the joint tight at the machine's 'pitman' arm end; we have to tighten it after every ride, and I believe the steering knuckle has been damaged. I'm not sure if it's because the taper is off or what, but we can't keep them tight at the joints where they connect to the steering arm. We took them out, cleaned them up, and put loctite on them - We can't keep them in any shape or form. Beware.

It's far superior to store-bought, and I strongly suggest it
5/5

These tie rods outperform the stock ones by a factor of ten. Do you want to take your game off the beaten path? That's exactly what you're looking for. It took me a long time to figure out what I needed to know. A mile from the trailhead, I bended a tie rod on the trail. To get to the trailer, I had to reverse my car. If yours are bending, replace them as soon as possible.

I'm going to buy some more
4/5

It worked perfectly, but you should have received two left-handed tie rods and two right-handed tie rods. I had three of one and one of the other, so I just used an old tie rod.

Rods have been installed on my 2014 Can Am Xmr 650
5/5

Installed on my 2014 Can Am XMr 650 rods are the same length as my stocks but larger; I bent my left stock rod at a 45 degree angle, which is why I replaced them; I reused my stock ends because there was nothing wrong with them, and I'm keeping the ones that came with the new rods for backup; something else will break before these things bend!.

Although the tie rods themselves are attractive, the tie rod ends that come with them appear to be of low quality
3/5

I bought these for my 15 Outlander 800 because the factory ones were worn out after only 29 miles. Outlaw 2s in the size of 5" These are significantly larger and appear to be more powerful. One of the tie rod ends, however, had a problem where it would only thread halfway in due to a bad spot in the threads. I needed to go out and purchase a 12x1 frame. To secure the threads, tap them 25 times.

Fits perfectly on the Can Am Outlander XMR 1000
5/5

It was delivered in a single day. These are a lot more rigid than the stock ones. A tad more substantial. br>Excellent value for money.

My 16 Land Rover 850 fits perfectly
5/5

My 16 Land Rover 850 fits perfectly. Unlike the stock rods, these are much more durable. I ended up reusing the old nuts with an additional washer, which allowed the pin to barely squeeze through when tightened. The hole is too small to effectively secure the nut that comes with these rods. Regardless, this is a fantastic product.
