Selected User Reviews For East Lake Axle replacement for rear left/right cv axle Polaris Ranger 500/800 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014
The product is an original equipment manufacturer. You can tell the quality by looking and feeling. The right rear axle on my Ranger Crew started popping pretty badly after almost four years and over 2,500 miles of being used in the turf mode. Since I use it so much, it's not unreasonable to expect me to be satisfied with At first, I was excited about replacing the axles, but rather cautious about purchasing axles that were half or less than most aftermarket axles I'd found online. For $69 each, I purchased two when I really needed only As we ride a lot and live in the country, we don't have a parts dealer close by. I figured it couldn't hurt to have another on hand. As for the installation, it was easy and the axle fit perfectly. The axle has been in for more than two months now without incident, and it is used regularly. I don't hesitate to go where I need to if I need to, but we don't do a lot of mud riding. Working and riding for pleasure are mostly what I do with the machine. The rims I'm using are 12" and I have 27" Mud Crusher tires. The tread is aggressive, but it is not a huge tire compared to many other tires. Although they are about 2" taller than stock tires, this means that the axle has to work harder than it would with stock tires. My recommendation for East Lake axles for your Polaris is without a doubt. I am sure their products are just as good for other brands as well. Thank you for the great price and the great product.
I did not encounter any problems installing the axle, and it does what is expected of it. When the OEM CV boot tore (instead of merely replacing the boot itself), I decided to replace the entire axle. In comparison to OEM, this CV boot appears to be of better quality. As compared to the plastic, this material feels rubbery (rather than feeling like plastic), is thicker, and has fewer folds (left).
2012 Ranger 800 XP. Don't know how long it will last, but it went on easily and fit perfectly.
The price is great. The installation is easy and the price is lower than dealership.
It appears that the problem has been resolved.
Thus far, everything appears to be running smoothly. A quick update In the same way as the OEM did, the inner boot is ripped 2 years and 11 months later. Considering how cheap this is, I won't worry about it and will just put another one in.
In a perfect world, I would give it five stars, even if I had to return it because I needed the rear axle. I am sorry for the misunderstanding.
I don't agree with this at all! The rear of your 2012 Polaris ranger 800 needs to be upgraded! The front axel looks more like a front end.
