My 07 R1 chain broke within a week after I installed this item, and it fit my JT 530 chain

Probably good for a slower bike. I was lucky that my engine did not suffer any The chain guard on my bike just broke. Consider a rivet type to avoid the possibility of being stranded! You will need a chain rivet tool for this.

You can also make a spare link out of this one! The riveted type master link that came with my X1R chain was of inferior quality so I decided to use this one instead
