Does this set of master links already come together, or do they need to be connected?

A chain will not be assembled with these, but connected in this way

The chain is 428mm wide. Is this for standard motorcycle chains?

need to figure out your chain size, I used mine on a 90cc four-wheeler

Could it be that the master link may already be attached so that you cannot take it off without damaging ?

Detailed installation will actually cause them to come off fairly easily if erroneously done. Since I have had mine on for the past nine months, I have never experienced a problem.

There are too few pins for a chain of 428

The pin centers were the right distance apart for the 1966 Honda CT90 chain, but the pins were too short so the spring clip couldn't be attached.

This kit does not fit This product did not work with the 200cc TaoTao Go Kart due to the link not being long enough to pass all the way through I could see this working on a chain that doesn't have such wide links

According to the description, these should be used with a It said that in the title. I just got them today. I tried connecting them and the pins were too short. These have to be for a smaller chain like a 420, since these wouldn't fit on a 428 chain.

Make sure you are placing your order correctly and you know your pitch. So far, there have been no issues with the chain. I had the chain size determined before ordering , ordered, paid, received, installed, and it seems to be working well. The chain I used was connected to a chineese 4x4 with a 428 sproket.

I found it easy to use and worked. On my ATV, I used it to fix the broken chain. Since I've never done it before, it used up only 5 minutes of my time. It held up well.
