It worked fine; just keep in mind whether the nut is on the left or right side of the thread. I used the tool with an electric impact wrench, and it took about 5 seconds to spin the nut off. (On my transmission, the nut was threaded in the left-hand direction. ) Without a tool like this, I would not have been able to remove the nut.
Very well-made and long-lasting. It's a little tricky to get off at times, but it gets the job done, and that's all that matters.
It does what it is supposed to do.
It may not say "Jims" on it, and it may be $50 less expensive than the more well-known brands, but it accomplishes the same task and does so well. When properly used, it is unquestionably a high-quality item. Thanks!.
Worked.
I'm only going to use this three times in my life, and if I worked on old Harleys for a living, I'd invest in a better one. This functioned flawlessly and completed the task at hand.
I bought this to replace the main drive gear on my 2012 Roadglide, and it's a well-made tool that I'll use again and again. Don't hesitate to buy.
