A sprocket has a bore of what size? In addition, is it easy to add holes to it? Trying to figure out the hardness of steel. ?

About 1 1/8 of an inch is the bore. Yes, you can use normal bits to drill it

It ended up coming back to me, but had the same hole pattern as the one I use A 1 3/16" (30mm) is one-third of an inch

It comes with a chain link, right?

Including the chain and sprocket, it is ready to go. Separately, you need to purchase the links.

To go with a motor, I need a sprocket that's smaller. Can this chain be used with this pitch?

One sprocket says pitch 1/4 inch 6 while the other says pitch 1/2 inch Suitable for O4C chains with a diameter of 35mm. This is the information that fits just fine, but I don't know if you need more. It cost about 11 bucks each. The one was 20 (tooth) and the one was 30 (tooth).

It turned out to be a great assembly for our electric bike. As far as I can tell, it is precisely I now want to get started on the build. In any case, it's not looking like it will cause a problem. I will update if it falls short of our standards.

The pictures are not what you can expect

Since the item you received is different from what is shown in the photos, you cannot give it a star. A spoke on the attachment only has four rather than five, as would be needed for my specific application. I plan to return.

There is a need for bigger chains if the chains are too small

In spite of that, the sprocket that came with the bike was perfect for the bike and I was able to get it running by using an old chain. The bad news is that I bought 3 of them but they weren't usable.
