Hopefully it will only take you an hour or so to accomplish this task. There are special pliers that allow you to remove plastic rivets from machines. If you look it up on YouTube first, it is an easy process.
It was great. This is an easy to install software. I found a YouTube video with complete instructions and hints to save me from frustration! I didn't need to take it to a mechanic, so I saved money. Clatch now works as it should. It's worth the extra money to get Polaris OEM parts.

There are some higher end belts on the market, but even then there are mixed reviews so I wouldn't bother taking a chance.
I took longer to remove all the plastic from the 2006 Polaris 450 Sportsman than it took to put the belt on.
