This throttle was simple to install and functioned as expected. The wires were in the way because I didn't have a push start setup, but it was a good product otherwise.
Probably?
Aluminum is one of my favorite metals.
On my 150cc, it worked perfectly; just make sure your handlebar diameter is close to the 7/8" diameter specification and that the cable length is correct. Keep in mind that this is only compatible with right-hand handlebar mounting and front DRUM brakes.

It's a dual-cable brake lever with a good thumb throttle and the option of a brake light. I don't see anything there, and it's not worth the $15 I paid for it. I was unable to install a second brake, but the single cable system works perfectly. I can accurately control my motorized bicycle speed with the thumb throttle while grabbing the handlebar grip instead of the actual throttle in case something goes wrong, preventing me from applying throttle and making things worse in the event of an accident or a shady situation. It isn't as fun to use as a twist throttle, but it is much safer. If you're getting this for an ATV or motorcycle, the brake light option works fine; however, because my taillight is a permanently flashing set of red, I cut the cables off. I don't have brake lights because I'm using LEDs. Before I cut them off to check, I tested it on my ATV. br>br>Overall, it's a fantastically high-value item with excellent build quality. Thumb throttle is alive and well.
Constructed of a light duty cast metal chassis, this product is an excellent value. Don't expect stainless steel or high carbon steel for less than $100; this is what it is, it works, and it's a good deal. I can see how mounting this on a handlebar with a diameter larger or smaller than 7/8" could cause problems for some customers; Before ordering or installing, make sure you measure your mounting. The light steel construction won't bend too far before breaking, but once mounted on a 7/8" bar, it'll stay put. Although suitable for street use, it may not be able to withstand the rigors of off-roading. road use. I was blown away by the seller's (or manufacturer's) attention to detail when packaging the item for shipping; "it could've shipped to the moon without a scratch. " If you're looking to use it for a bike kit, you'll need to build a new throttle cable to match, but it appears to be a viable option otherwise.
br>And for installing the brake cables, the lever has ball shaped locks, so I reshaped the cable ends into a ball, which works great; for the throttle, I simply rounded out the housing a little bit and it locked on well, but it could also be threaded to screw in with a m10 tap. br>On the carburetor side, I'm using a 324a pumper carb that was simple to set up but had too much slack, so I used a nt carb cable adjuster (which wasn't necessary with my carb setup's factory twist throttle). If you're using it with an nt/speed carb, you'll need a spacer to compensate for the slack.
After receiving the item and installing it on my bicycle, the throttle brake would not tighten down. I assumed it was due to the small handle bars, but when I went down to someone's house to try to fix it by putting a piece of metal in the handle grip area, I discovered the item was broken. I ordered a replacement, which arrived today, and the throttle brake handle installed without a hitch tightened down easily and without the use of a metal shim because it is a bicycle.
It was simple to install and worked great for my kids' 4 wheeler, and it was reasonably priced so that they could flip the 4 wheeler again later without having to buy another brake handle.
As long as you have a cable that is precisely the right size, this throtle will work fine. However, if it's off in any way, there's no way to adjust the cable from the throttle anywhere, so I couldn't find a cable that was exactly what I needed for my bike, but it's a good product otherwise.
I purchased this to replace an LT80. It's actually quite good. It's nearly identical to the original. This one has the e brake switch installed. You don't have to connect it to an lt80, of course. This could, however, be used instead of the one on the lt80 that activates the back brake.
construct a stroke Excellent performance in a difficult-to-cast role. I was dissatisfied with the stock throttle in my 2-year-old car, so I decided to upgrade. Kit for a stroke engine. Controlling this feels a lot more solid and natural. The brake is a big one that works well. This is something I would gladly incorporate into any future builds. If you can't make or modify your own, you'll have to purchase a throttle cable.
