I absolutely loved it, it was easy to bleed, I used it on a 2016 CF Moto 500 ATV, and I would definitely buy it again, The dealership did not have the front master cylinder in stock, it would take two weeks to get it, and it would cost over $100 at the dealership, so I found this on Amazon and it worked perfectly, The original one that came on a TV only lasted two years, it was difficult to decide which one to get because Amazon offered so many options at such a low price.
My bike didn't have any wires for it, so I didn't use it, but the brakes worked perfectly.
This aftermarket part does not perform as well as the factory part; it looks nice, but when the brake is applied, it does not generate enough pressure. Because of its light weight, the handle appears to be prone to breaking. Even if you squeezing it all the way down, you won't be able to push the bike far. After the installation, the system was properly bled out; however, it is not a road-safe product.
It's a few inches longer than the original, so it'll fit someone with large hands.
I had to buy because the screws were missing. I really liked this item. Because the screws in the top of my old one were rusted in and I couldn't get out, I had to buy a new one. When I went to remove the screws when I got this one, one of them stripped the threads out right away. I'm handy with tools, and I used the right screwdriver for the job. These screws should be made of a much harder material, preferably stainless steel.
Easy to install, but I couldn't get the brakes to bleed properly even with new wheel cylinders, so they weren't working properly.
Bleeding and installation are both simple. I'm not sure where the rest of you are having problems. Take your time, do it properly, and then bleed the brakes.
It's basically plug and play, and it comes with everything you'll need to replace your old master cylinder. It's okay to take your time when bleeding the system.
