With its distinct contour shape and ergonomics, the Pro Taper Contour Handlebar - Oversized is a best seller and constructed with the same quality materials as its standard 7/8-inch sibling, but It's hard to believe this solid beast comes with so many features, but you'll see why it's a must-have

The clamping area is made of 1-1/8" tubing.

This 5-millimeter-thick composite is formulated to deliver both the tensile and yield strengths of 2000 series aluminum alloy.

Questions & Answers

Is it correct that the bar tapers to 7/8"?

I feel that they are 1 1/8" where they clamp to the forks and 7/8" for the grips.

In your diagram, the clamps are 1 1/8 in wide, and the bars are 7/8 in wide at the end, right?

What about the pad that comes with these?

The answer is yes! The pad that came with mine was a generic black Pro Taper rectangle. It looks good to me, and I have installed it on my bike, so I hope this helps.

What is the fitment of the stock mounts on 2015 KLX140?

This bar fits my YZ400 perfectly, and it is awesome

Those are some nice bars! Problems with body positioning and control clearance have been resolved

My motorcycle handlebars are fully adjustable (almost) after the installation of 30mm rise dampened risers on nearly half of them. I now had the clearance needed to raise my motorcycle forks in the triple clamps. But the grips were too high with the original handle bars. My favorite grip was the one on the left- While keeping clearance under the bar so that I could raise the forks, I raised the controls back to near their original height. One bar is almost the same as two bars This is about 1/2 inch lower than my original grip height, and it solves the problem I have set the sweep and width of the new bar to the same as my old one, so it all makes sense.
