think it's lame that I purchase the guards, but then I don't receive what I need to install them on my bike. The price you thought you had for this item goes up by 30 dollars when you have to buy the mounting bracket. I don't know how they can do this. I decided to buy the mounting kit because it would be more convenient than returning it. The only thing I want them to know is The mounting bracket has yet to arrive, so I cannot speak to the actual quality of the product. But it seems to be of good quality.
It is easy to install, looks excellent, and has good quality. The deflectors are adjustable by adding spacers to allow for shifting from side to side. I would buy this product again. In order to install it so it goes up and over the master brake cylinder, you will need to order the Hayes mounting kit and.
This product seems like it will last for a long time for the price. Taking out welded manufacture tabs that have no effect whatsoever on performance during installation on a Yamaha wasn't too bad a bit of filing and cutting is all that is required. Besides the mirrors, I also purchased the tv stand and the TV stand are great!.
There is a mention of the kit right in the description! The handle bars on these look pretty cool, too, so my son likes them too. We have put them on all of our ATVs because we love them so much.
There is so much I want to like about these hand guards. They are fine for dual sport riding, but just do not perform as well for enduro racing and hare scrambles. Love the look and work well for hare scrambles. The only problem is that when you blow through the bushes and trees at race speeds, The connectors I used were from their bar end connectors. All they need is one small screw to hold them together. A screw will be pulled through this flap and it will move The mount only needed one little tip over to fall apart. For my dual sport bike, I will use the wood-like pedals, but for my race bike, I will use the bark buster pedals.
In short, yes. Separately, you will need to purchase the mounting kit. When you crash, look on the bright side. That's what you will do. Purchasing just the bracket or just the guard will be cheaper than replacing the two at once. At $65 for each, they are still a great deal. They look great and will stand up to crashes. Putting your trust in me is essential. I love them - they match any bike and come in all kinds of colors.
My husband bought a set of these a few months ago, and I'm very pleased with them. They have not been used much on my quad but I have used them on another. These gloves are useful for protecting your hands from twigs, branches, and briars. You don't get too sweaty and lose grip when you wear these because they allow enough air to flow to your hands and phalanges. During the winter, you can cover the air vents so your hands won't get For the first installation, it was a little challenging. There are instructions that say you should break off the tab on the side of the throttle, but I did not want to do that. Instead, I just ran it over a bit toward outside and then extended the break toward the inside of the throttle. The second one went on with little difficulty. The tools you need for the job will have to be your own.
You can put these on any bike or quad and they will look amazing. They are the only thing stopping the wind and the occasional large bug from hitting my fingers when I ride my street bike. They require brackets, which you can buy or make yourself. It's a well-made product that is tough.
