These are universal and will work just as well on top clamp fork bolts that pinch from the side, just like on the crf450l, so this will work without a problem.
It is true that I received the old version of the product, even though the photo shows the updated

Zeta handguards installed on a Yamaha WR250R with 1 1/8" bars fit well with this adapter. My cheap generic handlebar clamps never stayed in one place, no matter how hard I tried. By drilling and tapping the bar ends for threaded inserts, on top of drilling/taping the bar ends, the guards are kept solidly in place by these three things. The only problem with this set is the threads in the bolts need to be a little longer so they reach as many of the threads as the stock setup.
Although you will need to grind down the stock turn signal brackets if you intend to keep them, they will interfere with the fitment of this bracket. Another thing to keep in mind is this bracket now affixes the handguards in an exact.
DRZ400SM is no problem to fit. Removes the barricades and cleans them. If you wish to route clutch/signal wires through the triple clamp guide, you will need to modify or cut it.
DRZ400SM 2018 replacement upper breakline guides cannot be installed on these without removing or modifying the upper breakline guide. Bad customer service. Should have been informed of this before I made the purchase. In the event you don't pay attention, you can easily damage the triple clamp or bolt. For the price, I expected them to be hassle-free. We look forward to seeing you again.
Once mounted, they're extremely sturdy. You may need to do some fanagling to get the alignment right on a DRZ, but once you do, they're very solid. When you have all your bolts in place, loosen up the hardware first, so that you can then tighten it up. As opposed to stupid bar clamps that twist whenever there's a strong breeze, these attach directly to the fork bolts.
If parts arrive in a new condition, it is unlikely that they will work. A number of gouges and scratches are visible It's a pain in the butt to contact their customer service directly, and the seller can't offer any help either they refer you back to Amazon.
Much improved over the bar clamps, as the bush guards don't slip around much anymore.
I was able to make my guards so sturdy with these. The upgrade is well worth it! If everything is not loose enough to go on properly, the items will not stay in place. Despite my wishes, I took longer than I would like to confess to learning that. On the left side, it was necessary to eliminate the loop for the brake line, but that's not really needed.
