Do you still have the option of attaching crash bars?

It is possible that you cannot.

Is this going to fit the 2003 VStar Classic 1100 with crash bars?

To ensure a proper fit, the highway bars had to be taken off a 2002 1100. The room does add a lot of room to stretch your legs however

Does anyone know why my bike came with only the footpegs and the hardware but none of the actual pegs for the shifter, shifter, or the brake?

Make sure the video is on YouTube before you upload it

The software works perfectly once it has been installed. My height is 6'4, so I have a bit more leg room here. Although I believe the instructions are a waste of time, if you can call them that. Now that a YouTube video is available they have found a great deal of help. That's why I'm taking away a star. It would be a good idea to put at least a note in the box that includes the video address.

Wet and slippery

Although they look good, I don't like how slippery the metal is when wet. Not just the metal, the rubber grommet they give you also gets slippery. Will probably switch to flat pegs after I slipped off of the pegs the other day.

I like its looks, but it's too On my commute to work, this product will be alot more comfortable because of how it looks on my bike

2. unfortunately, both of these factors are true. Five mm screws that clamp the shifter and brake pegs had stayed in place for so long that they snapped off with very little force. There would be a lot more design incentive for the screw to go all the way through and have a nut on the backside of the screw. As a result, I will probably return this product and just replace my factory flooring.

The best investment you can make for your bike

At first, I was sceptical. The pictures do not convey the full effect. My bike looks so much nicer with them installed. They are well built, comfortable, and definitely add to the overall look of the bike. I'd buy them again but, I already have them.

You can figure out how they get put together when you figure it out

The instructions outline how to put them together, but are unclear when it comes to the spring for the rear brake light.

As a result of the direct sunlight, their colors changed

As I kept my bicycle outside during the summer, it turned from black to a light orange color from the sun. It's a shame the color wasn't more exciting, but the footpegs are really.
