However, the standard equipment is of good quality

Because I made a mistake, I ordered both a coated and uncoated one. When it rains, this one rusts, whereas the coated one does not. But that's to be expected. The coated type is unique and more expensive, but not significantly so. I can't take away a star because they both fit my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and functioned as advertised.

At the time of this review, I had put about 2,000 miles on these and they have broken in perfectly with no squeaks or noise. br>Smooth braking.

EBC brake pads were also installed on my vehicle. The original rotors lasted over 40,000 miles before warping, so there is no pulsation now. I'm hoping they're as good as, if not better than, the previous ones.
