What does this look like on a Yamaha R3 2015?

There should be no problem. I would just check the throat depth and pin size of your Xena and compare them to the disc on your bike. I have a 2009 Vulcan voyage and it fits fine, it's I also found it to work great.

Could you let me know if this lock will work with a 2017 Yamaha Nmax?

Thanks for your inquiry. If you have a disc brake, I wonder whether it fits.

It is a good idea to lubricate all moving parts with powdered graphite first thing
5/5

Only $70 will be required to purchase this mass produced item. The quality of the products should not be compromised because occasionally a defective unit might occur. I have not encountered any problems and have been able to use it to its full potential. All moving components, including the opening for inserting the key and its internals, should be lubricated first thing with powdered graphite. To activate the alarm, I suggest disassembling the alarm a few times and reassembling it several times. Having the battery active for forty seconds before an alarm goes off is not a long period of time, so familiarity with alarm operations is vital. My key would not work any further once the alarm was removed from the disk. I had to turn it to a position where it stopped turning and would not turn The key slot is thus always aligned the same way every time and I do not have to fumble to remove it. When mounted on the front disk, the alarm receives input from movement of the handle bars, but does not respond to common bumps against the bike. On the reverse hand, the opposite holds true if placed on the rear disk. A lock should not be closed when the bike is not in use, and the reflector plate should not be covered when not on the bike. Clean the reflector plate regularly in order to prevent the alarm from malfunctioning. As a result of its low wattage and low speaker size, this alarm produces a high pitched sound that does not penetrate walls very effectively. Nevertheless, it will startle people nearby, and that is about all an alarm that just plays a sound is going to accomplish. It is recommended to replace the battery if the sound is weak or if false alarms occur as low current can cause the device to malfunction. Batteries purchased from stores are often no longer fresh from the manufacturer, so you may have to shop around a bit to find one that's really fresh. You can mount the alarm just aft of the brake caliper, so that the alarm is positioned behind the caliper when the disk is moving. In that case, the bike can only be moved in a forward direction for an inch or two before the alarm hangs.

There is no guarantee that alarm modules will last for long
4/5

In about 6 months of daily outdoor use, the alarm functioned well, then the plastic bit that holds the alarm in the body of the lock broke. I taped it in and it worked for about In the following year, the thing suddenly began going off randomly all the time regardless of whether it was connected to the bike or My credit card's extended warranty policy replaced this product for free with a completely new one without me even having to pay for it. I would have given it a 2 star rating otherwise. In this form factor, there is no other product that works well, so we will have to make do with this. The only other option is to get an alarm/immobilizer that hooks up with your ECU. Make sure to register the product on the Xena site for their warranty and purchase with a credit card so that you can have extended manufacturer warranties since the plastic parts are garbage and will deteriorate over time. *EDIT A rating of 4 stars is deserved. When I got in touch with Xena support, they honored my warranty without hesitation. I had a problem with my power supply 1 day before the warranty period expired, but they didn't jack me off. A great customer service experience.

This is a good unit
5/5

The two of us were going on a long bike ride, and we thought perhaps a little security would be helpful. An alarm system isn't installed in the bike from the factory. With something that prevents rolls off and also has a motion alarm, I was looking for a compact, reliable system. Then I read reviews on different models on Amazon. to use the XENA disc lock to achieve the desired result. In keeping with our promise, the unit arrived at the promised time. I enjoyed how easy it was to assemble and how easy the instructions were to follow. Having the pin covered prevents it from being cut with bolt cutters. The lock is heavy duty and the pin is heavy duty. The lock fit our Kawasaki Vulcan voyager touring bike just fine. We were able to mount it either up or down without any issues. took very little movement of the wheel for it to come to a stop against the brake Arming the system was easy, and the lock and key removal process took place within plenty of time. An audible beep is heard before the device is armed. To determine the sensitivity of the motion sensor and the loudness of the alarm, I tested it. There is a lot of noise! When the alarm goes off, it wailed loudly and grabbed the attention of everyone around. It has a motion sensor that is just right it didn't go off if the wind blew, but did go off if you moved the bike. The alarm reset on its own after a short amount of time it's nice not to have an unattended alarm. A very small amount of space was taken up by the lock in the The cloth we carried was too heavy so it was wrapped in one of my cleaning cloths. I didn't want the bag to bounce around while I was The product would be better if it came with a padded carrying bag and an included cable for reminders. We were very happy with the unit. It is of good quality, it works as advertised, and it comes at a good price. We slept well at night knowing that the bike was locked and protected. It was impossible to roll it away, and if anyone tried to pick it up, an alarm would sound. A motorcycle lock like this one would be a terrific addition to any This system will deter most thieves from trying to steal from your home if your are forced to leave it unattended. The thieves would probably move on to a simpler.

This product protects your bike and works great
5/5

Every motorcyclist needs a wheel lock to prevent left turns. Using a key ring to open ignition locks is easy. Within 60 seconds, it was gone. There is no way people are going to roll your bicycle away. A determined thief with a pickup truck and plenty of help might not be deterred by this, but it will not deter them.
