I don't recommend it. This rating is not an acceptable one. I can't believe people gave these a higher rating Their thinness makes them difficult to hold. The elastic is ripped immediately after they are worn the stitching on the elastic is ripped! They weight 8 ounces each, so you know how cheaply they are built. It isn't worth it to buy these if you are a real wrencher, because you will undoubtedly return them immediately. Unlike most other forms of protection, they provide almost none.
The product is thin as a blade. This is one side of a felt material, great for keeping the paint from getting scratched. It feels as if it would scratch the paint if tools were placed on it. It is however really thin. There is no steel behind the hooks. They are made of plastic, which is not strong at all. It looks like the elastic strap holding the hook has been stitched on in a very poor way. I had mine for less than two days before it There is only one hook on one side. Even so, is still capable of latching onto the panels due to the magnets.
Do not buy it. There is no use in buying this product. It is inexpensive, but it also isn't any good. After a very gentle tug, the plastic hooks broke the first time I used it. Since the magnets hold the blanket in place, they are far too small to hold it in Because the size of the blanket is so small, the lower half of the fenders are I don't trust the blanket to prevent a ding from a dropped tool because the material is so thin. In order to find a real one, I'm going back into the market.
The fact that it was divided into three sections is nice. This is where I lay many of my tools (which often gets bumped and gets lodged in hard-to-reach places) in front of the machine (particularly the front). I highly recommend this set if you are looking for a way to protect your paint finish from scratches. The tie downs that come with it are of its own design.
It's possible to master it if you work at it regularly. You can read more here. I've seen them cheap enough and they are like the old saying. Vacancies are opening as the newbie moves to the two-year mark Three months of age. The problem of needing to replace an otherwise great idea with an upgraded version only because cheap thread caused vinyl to tear through was PITA. As for the décor, I've just done it A NASCAR spit crew would be like this.
Although I am not sure how much use those hooks will be. I am very satisfied.
The general quality of the leather is good, however there was an area where there were no stitches around the hook. The problem was easily resolved ( I fixed it) It still worked.
The bag is quite a bit thinner and lighter than I anticipated, but not a complete rip-off for the money. As a whole, they do the job I bought them to do. In case you are just a normal home mechanic, these would be ideal as long as you aren't making your living from fixing cars.
