LIP GUARD The PVC Lip Guard is a trim & peel-off tape made out of a plastic material. With a special "L" shape design, this pliable trim will meet the needs of both interiors and exteriors. Also, vinyl base paint allows you to paint it any color you like.

THESE LIP PROTECTORS ARE HEAT-READY These lip guards prevent the absorption of water, ozone, sunlight aging, low temperatures, and compression set injuries due to water. It is generally recommended to use a temperature range of -20°F to +158°F for general applications.

A reliable lip guard that can be used for a wide variety of tasks. Camper shells, running boards, spas, unfinished edges, truck bed covers, car fenders, fender flares, and more can be made with this material.

Installing this lip is fast and easy thanks to the 3M acrylic foam tape with peel-off liner. It is simply a matter of peeling off the lip liner and placing the lip guard on a clean surface.

On my car, I used this to protect the rims. Although these guards are cheaper than some of the actual rim guards, you will need to reinstall them if you ever have to remove your tires They're also very rigid, and this is going to surprise you, I actually ended up hit a curb with them on (both of which forced the thing to fly). I wouldn't recommend that you use them for that purpose, but it might be worth trying. It is also important to mention that the adhesive is very strong, which is both a good and a They aren't rib guards, so don't use them that way.

My front bumper spoiler splitter edge needs this lip guard to prevent the edge from chipping off. As I was hoping to add some color (3M vinyl red), I opted for the paintable version. As the textured versions wouldn't allow vinyl to stick to them, this solution worked out perfectly. Having only purchased eight units, I would have liked it if it was available in smaller quantities I meant nine feet, not 25 feet.

It had become pretty chipped up along the lip of the gunnel on my 1985 Hobie. As far as protection and fit are concerned, this has been an excellent purchase. This rubber product seems well made like a I rolled it in a coil with a 1 foot diameter, then sat it in the sun for a few minutes so that it became very pliable. I installed it without any issues. According to its current state, it appears to be in good shape. It will take time to see how it turns out, but it looks fantastic.

The unrolling process is painful

In terms of its functionality, the trim is fine. It can't be laid flat for measuring and cutting because it's rolled up in a way that makes it impossible. After unrolling and rolling it up the other way, I let it sit in the sun for a few minutes so I could lay it flat, measure, Due to having to make it longer so that it would lay flat, it was several inches shorter than I had intended. As time goes on, we will be able to tell if the adhesion is strong.
