The stock screws will work, but you will have to compress them slightly to enable the threads to reach due to their length.

This type of attachment is very effective for the intended purpose of connecting a threaded connection to a fiberglass or similar depth To try and use these for a different type of material, porcelain and to attach a toilet seat attachment (2) to a failed insert, my results have been less than satisfactory. I believe the hole material needs to be much thinner so that the rubber portion of this well nut can bunch up and grab the backing side of the hole from behind. estimate that 1/4" to 1/2 inch is the maximum. The rest of the time, these can be a great life saver if used.

This tool will not fit motorcycle windshield nuts, although it is not technically intended for use for this purpose

If you are looking for motorcycle safety nuts, what I found is that the nut was too deep in the rubber for the little bolt to reach, although this may differ from your experience.

It is incorrect to specify M6 lengths

Please correct it. Please be aware that the length of the M6 item specified on the spec sheet is incorrect. The height is listed as 16mm, which is what I need I received one that is 21mm in diameter. It may not seem like much, but with my application (Ducati 907ie fairing), the bolt will not reach as far as I need. Bolts should not have to be longer, but I could get longer bolts if need be.

I used a 19/64 drill bit to fit it I received two duds in the package, but I still think this is an amazing product. I highly recommend this product beyond all doubt.

There is an error with the dimensions listed

Quality is very good, but the dimensions are not correct. A description on the order form suggested that I order M5 Rubber Well Nuts. A height of The barrel diameter of the 89mm gun is The diameter of the cylinder is 53mm. The height of the fish is 27mm

Unfortunately, I did not receive accurate information A height of The diameter of the head is too small (only 9mm) The diameter of this screen is 7mm (too small)
Similar dimensions OK, maybe that isn't a big deal for your application, but the specs listed are what I needed, and they didn't meet my expectations. Probably a better idea if they just didn't list the features and specs, especially if all of them aren't even close to what they claim to be.

I replaced four wellnuts that were facing failure The windscreens on my motorcycle are held in place by these. These OEM ones lasted about eight years, it will take time to determine if they will last as long.
