I don't see any noticeable difference between this and similar items for $200, nor can I tell the difference between the two. Getting the mount mounted was easy. The device comes with adapters for using multiple year HDs. It does not come with a carriage bolt to attach the lower bracket to the seat bracket as it says to use a "socket cap screw," but the picture shows a small carriage bolt. Fortunately I have plenty of hardware so it wasn't a big deal. As I understand it, the "socket cap screw" they require you to use is too long and most likely will not be adequate to secure the two brackets. Despite ordering on Thursday, my package arrived on Sunday, and the shipping cost was very reasonable.
There is nothing wrong with the brackets or back rest, but the hardware is incorrectly enclosed. Neither a nut nor bolt could be used with a Harley, let alone one for Since I have a lot of hardware in my shop, I was able to put all of it There was not much you could make The result of your money is exactly what you get. There seems to be no problem with it. In the future, I won't expect to get proper hardware with one now that I know what to expect.
I found this product to be just what I was looking for in a backrest. Very happy with my purchase. as I learned from some of the reviews I read before ordering, the mounting bracket didn't come with a bolt that holds the mount to it. The home improvement center in my small town is 14 miles away from where I live, so I had to drive there on a Sunday morning to acquire a bolt, washer, and nut for the backrest A total of $ was charged for the parts. This includes gas at 42 cents a gallon. It will still get a 5 rating from me.
I have been using this seat back for 1,000 miles and it keeps working great. Simple to install and easy to take off if you want to bring You can put it to many different uses. I like the Valero bag that is on the back of the seat pad.
I really liked the product and it was so.
I was riding for the first time and something snapped. It will be interesting to see what it looks like tomorrow, but my hopes are not high.
As for the installation instructions, they weren't all that clear. It provides the comfort and lumbar support I need when I travel long distances. The removable pocket that my wife can put her phone in is a big hit with her.
A slight cant is present in the welding. Had I just purchased OEM, I would have saved money.
