Large enough for comfortable gripping. The finish is nurled, making it simple to twist on and off. The threads on the tack remain black even after multiple threadings. This is critical because I've had others where the paint or anodized process was rubbed off after threading, leaving the threads bare metal. This is not the case in this instance. At least from my perspective, having threaded it perhaps ten or twelve times. The thread size was exactly right for a 2016 Harley-Davidson Street 750. The only thing I'm not sure about right now is how long the finish will last and how hard the metal will be. So far, everything appears to be in order, and the value provided by this tack, as well as its initial performance, merit 5 stars. I'll check back in 6 months to see if there's anything to report, such as rust or breakage. One thing to keep in mind is that it comes with a small rubber washer that aids in the creation of a watertight seal for your threads when installed. It's important to remember. It's inconspicuous and easily overlooked.
My Harley Iron 883 is finished in a black satin finish. While this bolt came in a gloss black finish, it was simple to rough it up and paint it a satin black to match the bike. It was a perfect fit and took less than a minute to install.
It was a perfect match. It's a lot easier than pulling out a screwdriver.
Unexpectedly found a missing bolt. Arrived quickly, fitted the bike, and resolved the issue.
It's a simple but attractive upgrade. This is one I'm glad I bought.
