I'm not sure what the cover is made of; it's not leather or pleather, either. some flimsy, low-cost nonsense When I dropped it from waist height, it ripped both sides of the pan. So much for "paying for quality. " Does anyone know of a good solo seat for a 2018 Street Glide Special that isn't ridiculously expensive?.
I'll never go back to the stock seat because it provides at least an inch more leg room and allows you to ride low in the saddle.
The service was satisfactory, but the seat and fittings were inadequate. The wiring harness on Electraglides is slightly thicker, and it runs under and along the stock seat to the tour pack. This seat is so snug that the wiring harness is pinched or crimped as a result of the tight fit. If you're going to use it as a solo seat with no tour pack, it might work fine, but there isn't as much room under the seat on newer touring bikes as there used to be. This reduces the amount of room required to roll up and store the tour pack harness. Although the seat is attractive, it was insufficient for my needs.
What you pay for is exactly what you get. It's exactly what I was expecting from Mustang. It has a great look and feel to it. Some people recommend that you avoid it. Those who complain about how stiff it is. Take your motorcycle out for a spin and get it warmed up.
On our Harley, we custom-made the seat, and it fit and functioned flawlessly. We're both older, and this has enough padding for my wife to ride longer distances without getting hurt.
Nice seat, a big improvement over the factory seat on my 2018 Street Glide Special, and it's been pretty comfortable so far, despite the fact that I've only been riding around town since installing it. I ordered the 14" fender bib to go with it until I get the passenger seat, and it looks great as a solo setup.
The seat appears to be very nice, but I can't use it because my bike's bolts are missing, so I can't install it. I'll have to return it and buy a 2-seater instead. up seat.
This is a seat that my daughter really enjoys. We went for a 200-mile ride. There are no issues. In terms of my seat, It's one of my favorites, too. I'm not sure why people are being so negative. We, on the other hand, find it to be effective. as well as the appearance man. This is an excellent location.
