Cub Cadet Zero Tun mowers appear to have springs designed for people weighing 500 pounds, as many others have pointed out. br>When I applied 150 pounds of force to one of the springs, it did not move. It comes with two springs. br>To perfectly replace original springs, these Solo Seat springs only required a flat washer under the screw head. When you hit a bump, your seat actually moves. It's a lot less taxing on the backside. br>The best part is that my wife now enjoys using the mower!.
Cub Cadet decided it would be amusing to put a brick under the seat of their zero turn mowers and call it "suspension" for some reason. br>Removed the two bricks from the stack. I swapped them out for these springs, and wow, what a difference!.
It's ideal for a child's bicycle seat.
Willie can now freely swing around on the lawn as I bounce across it in comfort. Of course, watching the old lady mow the lawn and bounce around isn't nearly as entertaining as it once was.
On newer cub cadet zt mowers, these are a cheap and effective way to improve ride comfort. To cushion rough lawns, the factory has a large plastic "spring. " These are a very simple upgrade that takes less than 10 minutes to complete and is well worth it!.
I put these on my Cub Cadet ZT2 mower, as did a lot of other people, and oh my god, they saved my back when I was going over bumps. FOR THE PRICE, THIS IS THE BEST UPGRADE.
