The aluminum brush is made from aluminum
It's too large for the hole of a half inch
Sorry, it will only fit one hole with an inside diameter of 7/8" thanks.
I had a 2008 Buell XB9sx with 7/8" bars, so it fit. Although I am not familiar with your Yamaha, if the bars are 7/8", I would expect them to fit.

A different style of mirror that did not function properly had been installed on my Kawi Vulcan S before these ones were installed. Therefore, I was worried about these mirrors vibrating or coming loose because of that reason. When installing, I tried a few methods and took my time. My first step was to apply masking tape to the tightening nut so the mating surface would be more snug. Even after tying the nuts up one did not succeed since the tape kept the nut sliding inside the handlebars regardless of how tight I made it. Then I tried it without the glue and they held Also, I applied loctite red to all the nuts and mating surfaces of the bike and let them Until now, there are no vibrations in them and the reflection doesn't show any. There is a decent field of view due to the convex functions given their size. The reflection is as expected considering their size. While you can use it to apply makeup and pluck your eyebrows, it won't apply makeup or pluck your eyebrows. It was not the case that they engineered it with nylon locking threads, since I would have given the product 5 stars. They would have been perfect if they had done so.
Screws that are meant to hold the unit in place spin in place, making installation extremely challenging. My hands were cut up quite a bit while mounting them due to the very sharp edges. After I tried to tighten it up, one of the mount screws stripped before I could get it tight enough although I had to apply about 160lbs of torque on it to get it any close to tight. Approximately a block into the walk, one mirror fell off. My previous pair of shoes had been terrible, so I ordered another pair. The quality of the product was pretty poor. The 1" bars are definitely not the best fit. However, I'm going to smash them up and at least get something out of them, because they're torn pretty badly from torquing on them to mount them. I do not recommend this.
The stock mirrors are not as attractive as these. On the positive side, you are able to lean forward and have better vision on the freeway since the stock mirrors are no longer in your way. Also, I think they make the bike look more aggressive.
The cons are that they are difficult to install and that dropping the bike can knock them out of place, but that's just how bar end mirrors work. To ensure they catch in the handlebar, secure the mirror base, and then adjust the mirror to the desired angle, you will need to ensure they catch on the handlebar and secure the mirror base. Sometimes you'd have to use the wrench to adjust one of the three as the bar ends would spin or become loose. Although they may feel a bit shaky at first, they seem solid once you get them set and so long as you don't death grip, you cannot The mirror, the base, or the bar end can come loose if you drop the bike as either the mirror will hit the ground or the base will tilt.
Prior to buying this product, I purchased a different variety of mirrors that I returned since the practice was mounted the same way as this, but there was not enough space to prevent the rubber from rubbing over Thank you for your reply, I am satisfied.
The electric reverse trikes I bought them for use with. Since I bought these mirrors, I haven't had to adjust them again and they have stayed where I adjusted them. I have tried a couple other mirrors and they kept moving around and falling off until I bought these one. I am buying them for the second time and will do so again if I need them for.
The books have been returned to me. There were a number of problems with the installation. Because the screw would spin freely, the expanding metal bushing could not expand to tighten. Efforts to tighten did not result in any results. As well, there were no instructions with the set.
Can't fix them on the fly, so it took a while to get them perfect. Be sure to check them periodically after a few rides, they WILL rattle loose (I lost one) but considering the price can't complain. By the way, I used them on my fz09 and they fit perfectly.
The metal construction is sturdy and there are two adjustment points, so that's nice, and I also appreciate the convex shape because it's so much better than the rectangular/teardrop shaped bar end mirrors you can find everywhere and I remember having one too. The change is so dramatic that I can see my rear tire as well as the cars behind me in both lanes. The installation took 10 minutes, there were no problems. I highly recommend this product.
