There is no need to drill holes. Tension bolts are used to secure the mounting brackets, which come in two sizes. It took only 5 minutes to complete the installation, and it worked flawlessly.
The second section of the enclosed installation instructions is titled "Reversing Mirror Bracket," and it outlines the steps for switching the bracket to the other side of the mirror for installation on the opposite side of the windshield, preserving the vehicle's symmetrical position. It's a quick procedure (takes about 3 minutes). It takes about 5 minutes and requires a Phillips head screwdriver (which isn't included).
On my ezgo, the mirror installs easily and does not obstruct the windshield.

Without drilling a single hole, this bracket is designed to bolt onto the canopy struts. They're a perfect fit, and there's a larger mounting bracket adapter in the box if your struts are larger than the standard golf cart size. The plastic mirror housing was cleaned with paint thinner, the glass was covered with painters tape, and the housing was spray painted with off-the-shelf spray paint to match the cart, as you can see in the photos. I couldn't be happier with the outcome; they really do make a difference in my line of sight behind the cart, as intended.
mirrors on the sides! However, it is very expensive. These were required in order for my EZGO TXT cart to be street legal. I really like the no-drill mounting brackets that are included. As others have suggested, simply toss those rubber pads; you won't need them. br>IT IS NOT MOVING AFTER YOU TIGHTEN THE TWO NUTS! Construction is made of thick black ABS plastic. Remember to order two of these because each box only comes with one mirror! br>All you have to do now is remove the swivel bolt/nut, flip the base over, and install the black cap cover, and you've got yourself a passenger side mirror as well. br>These mirrors come highly recommended!.
Before you place your order, there are a few things you should know. To begin, keep in mind that you are only getting one mirror for the price; this is not a set. The mirror is designed to be mounted on the right side of a golf cart or whatever you're using it for. They don't enter from the left or the right. You'll need to disassemble one and flip it over to the left side; it's not difficult, but it's a pain. Working with the brackets is a bit of a pain. Overall, the product is satisfactory, but it is not the most straightforward to set up. This was not easy for me, even though I consider myself to be fairly sharp on such matters. The quality is adequate, not exceptional, but I have seen worse. These are the factors that led me to award this product three stars.
Ahhh, our golf cart's driver side mirror took a hit. mishap. There are a variety of replacement mirrors available on Amazon, but almost all of them have a 2 3/4" spacing between the mounting screws. I needed to replace the broken mirror with one that had the same screw spacing to avoid making a 10-minute job into a pain in the neck. 2 1/4". I went over the specifications of at least ten different products. Before coming across this one, I had to go through a few sections. Surprisingly, it was twice as expensive as the rest, but not as much as I had anticipated. It was simple to set up and appears to be effective.
" My cart has a large view mirror on top that bounces around a lot. It's not the best way to keep an eye on what's going on behind you. Because a neighbor had one, I got this side view mirror, and the difference is incredible. br>However, the wraparound bracket was a challenge for me. I had to use a small clamp to compress it so that I could tighten the bolts with nuts. I believe the foam pad adds just enough extra bulk (at least in my cart) to prevent the ends from properly fitting together. Yes, I did use the larger bracket that came with the kit. br>br>Aside from that, the final product is fantastic. There will be no more shifting perspectives of what's behind me. It appears to be strong, durable, and well-made. made.
The 1 inch pole fitting is too tight to use with the adhesive pad that comes with it. If they could just explain that, I'd give it a five. Instead, I had to try several times to get it to fit, which resulted in the fitting being slightly bent. Save time by skipping the padding if you're only installing 1 inch.
Regrettably, I did not take the time to measure the diameter of the rod on my golf cart where this mirror would be mounted. The mirror's description stated that it could be used on. 75" or 1. I assumed ours was one of the two because it said it would fit EZ-FIT. GO carts. However, we are number one. 2021 EZ-Status: EZ-Status: Freedom RXV is the way to go. Rather than drilling holes in the cart, I liked the idea of clamping the mirror to it. If it had fit, I believe it would have been an excellent mirror.
These mirrors, I must say, made a world of difference. The top of the golf cart (Yamaha) had a rear view mirror, but the vibration made it difficult to see behind me. There is no need to drill the side mirror, and it does not vibrate. You're able to see a great deal more clearly now. They're fantastic.
