Considering the price, I did not expect much from a set of folding mirrors under $20, but they are quite good for the price. I have heard of mirrors that cost $50 or more performing poorly. There is no installation difficulty as most bars install easily and are simple A mirror at the end. It is imperative that you tighten all the screws since they come very loose over time, I have a V-shaped desk I had trouble with them falling apart after the first ride due to the twins and vibrations.
The look is excellent, no one would think they are bargains, but I think they will survive if you don't toss them every five Due to the high amount of traffic I live in, I must fold my mirrors for lane splitting, and then pop them open again when traffic eases up. This is at least 5 times a week when I ride, and the tires were too worn down to do it. When I tried to close one, the flap broke off as soon as I tried to fold it out. It is still hanging on after a month of use, but it is already worn out and I don't expect it to last much longer. It jams when open, and I find myself nearly running into a ditch as I pull it closed. The purpose of folding them is just for style and ease of storage (where they will only be folded occasionally), so Fold them as often as you need to because you need them in the lanes I suggest splitting these and skipping them.
Several options were available on Amazon that I found to be alternatives to the very expensive Husqvarna bar end mirrors. This one caught my eye and I decided that it was too cheap not to try it. This type of Vitpilen 701 bar is 7/8" in length, but it is thick, so its actual size is closer to It was possible for me to knock out the outer adapter of these mirrors with just a hammer so that the smaller mirrors could go As soon as I tightened these to a crazy amount, I tested them on the freeway to make sure that nothing was loose. The trees are holding up well! Even when the wind pressure gets to 80 mph, they don't bend back. If you want to save some money while still getting some bar end mirrors to replace any Shrek-ear style mirrors you may have already purchased from the factory, I highly recommend that you get these.
It is for my '95 Triumph that I purchased these mirrors. Especially for their price, they seem to be of good quality and were easy to install. They cost less Is it 20? I am amazed! I like those convex mirrors that give me a more holistic view of what is behind me. As far as I can tell, they look really good on my bike, Here are some tips for installation For my channel-matching, I used both of the following The lock is used to hold the handle bar plug (after it has been attached to the bar), while the tightening bolt is turned a couple times. Hence, once the plugs were inserted into the ends of the bar, the claws of the plugs were wide enough to grip. My rubber mallet worked very well for tapping the plugs inside the bar ends once they were wide enough to grip on their own. I then tighten the set bolts the rest of the way once the plugs are fully inserted into the ends of the bar.
On an old bike that vibrated at high speeds or in large amounts, the adjustment has been good, and they have not moved at all. Since I already had bar ends mounted, I had to modify the mounts, but that is not needed for regular installation. Their work is great and I'm glad I chose The product is great, and I'd buy it again and again!.
A new review is available since I returned the product and they sent me a replacement with much better performance. I had a great ride on my first go with them, A bad situation turned into a good one when the sender took action. This is the second mirror I bought from them and I would buy from them again. I purchased for my motorcycle and the first mirror worked just fine. The second mirror stripped and would not stay inside so I just set it aside hoping it would stay there for a long time. In the future, I would choose to buy these again and try a better brand.
It's nice to have mirrors like these. It certainly has a better field of view than the other set of glasses I had previously bought on Amazon, and it really does stay in place well once you tighten it down. I was also pleased with the installation process. I only had one issue with the mirrors, but it was very similar to one I read in another review for this product regarding the way the mirrors fold in on hinges to keep the bike standing out narrower, which is great when lane splitting or squeezing into tight spaces. It is not great that one of the hinges pretty quickly locked up after no more than a few uses, so that it is even now just permanently I don't think this affects the normal use of the mirror, so I'm not too upset by it, but it's kind of a bummer not to be able to fold in the mirror.
Here's the latest A mirror has been removed. It may have just gone away after its 4th use. Superglue these mirrors if you must but stay away from the other ones. I was very pleased with the product that arrived in good shape. I noticed that the bar end on my left started wiggling as soon as it was installed and used. In addition, if not for the screw, it would have fallen out (just like I experienced with my previous pair from another vendor). The superglue just held it in place. As for my project bike, these work well for me, but if you're planning on using them seriously and at high speeds, I'd suggest getting a pair of them from a When it comes to bar ends, you seem to get what you pay for.
The thick plastic washer was used from a rear peg kit to mount it on an Indian Scout Bobber 2020. The mirrors were very simple to install, but I needed a washer from the rear peg kit, and used the OEM bar end hardware, since it allows the mirrors to stick out from the grip, making it possible to turn the throttle. The hardware provided for turning the throttle grip would sit against it and prevent it from turning. I purchased these mirrors due to the fact that the stock mirrors were hanging down and would come in contact with the tank if the handlebars were completely turned, these don't come close and shouldn't as they are designed for this purpose. Once a full set of screws is tightened down, the picture is crystal clear there is no vibration. It is good to have separate bar end mirrors, but I find the picture very small, the stock bar end mirrors had a large picture. Since this is a very small thing and I just have to adjust to it, no stars were deducted for this.
