There was a frame broken and cracked off my bike that was made of plastic and it had a dealer plate on it. As I was searching for a metal frame for my license plate, I found this one and decided to purchase I'm very happy with it. It is made from sturdy metal and holds the plate firmly. As a matter of fact, I didn't realize my license plate was fraying since it did not have a frame to protect For what I'm looking for, this definitely fits the bill. Although the design looks interesting, one cannot quite make out what it is from a distance. After you reach 5 feet, you can move on With regard to the chain it has, you can tell that it is shaped like a chain from 7 feet away.
