Yes, I'm reordering a few more for my collection right now. I'm surprised they lasted so long, but I'm fine with that. Pletscher is one of my favorite actors.
It doesn't work that way. When rotated, the pedal does not extend all the way back. My kickstand is mounted directly behind the point where the pedal shaft connects to the bike, which is about as far forward as a kickstand can go.

Stability has greatly improved. I never considered it before, but having a narrow round base for the kickstand isn't a great idea; The addition of the wide rubber base improved them so much that I'm surprised they don't come with kickstands. I have two bikes, one of which is an electric hybrid, and the added weight has rendered my kickstand unreliable; I thought I'd have to upgrade to one of those two-sided kickstands, but after adding the rubber base to my existing one, it perfectly stabilizes my bike; I'm not sure how long they'll last before the metal rod of the kickstand wears a hole in the rubber base, but if it does, I'll deal with it then. I'm sure that adding something to the bottom of the shoe will help it last longer.
Perfect fit for my Greenfield kickstand; I added a washer before slipping it on the stand to keep it from wearing out. This is extremely useful in preventing scratches on the floor.
This has been on my bike for more than two years and is still in excellent condition. I haven't noticed any poking, but as other reviews have stated, it easily installs onto a genuine greenfield stand by simply pushing it on. Once on, it keeps its shape. There haven't been any problems with it falling off. There will be no more sinking into soft dirt and causing the bike to tip over. I see it's now $6, but when I bought it, it was only $3, which I think is a much better price for what it is.
Exactly what I needed! My kickstand was about a half-inch too short, and the bike had never been particularly stable when parked. This increased the length of the stand just enough to improve its functionality. This add-on item comes highly recommended.
It's thick and, after twisting, it fits onto my kickstand, but I'm afraid it'll fall off on a ride due to the width of my kickstand. So, for now, it's doing a good job of preventing divots in the floor, but I'll have to find another option at some point.
This is a sturdy piece that allows me to park my bike on grass and soft dirt, where a traditional kickstand would dig in and sink. My bike has a baby carrier on the back, which adds weight and creates an imbalance. My bike was constantly tipping over, but this simple piece keeps it upright. The bottom is thick enough to prevent the thin metal kickstand from cutting through. I bought a second one for my wife's bike after using it for a few months, and I would strongly recommend it.
There isn't much to say about this, except that it has a rubber kickstand foot. If you want your bike to stay a little more stable on slick surfaces (smoothed concrete/etc), this is a good option. br>br>Don't put it all the way down on the kickstand. It will not wear through if there is a 2mm gap between the kickstand end and the beginning of the inside of the foot, as some users claim. I was thinking of putting a little silicone or RTV inside to help cushion the bottom and keep it from wearing out so quickly. File the tip of your kickstand so it doesn't have any rough edges that could snag this.
I wanted to protect the floor by installing a greenfield kickstand on my daughter's bike. I read that some people's boots have fallen off, so I slid it on the end of the kickstand with a little spray on adhesive and it's still there after three months of daily abuse by a 7-year-old.
